WHO WE ARE AND WHAT DO WE DO

Procurement department is the sole procuring agent for the Authority. We provide a wide range of procurement services which include, purchasing of goods, works and services as well as contract formation for consultancy services, road construction, maintenance and rehabilitation. We are responsible to contractors and suppliers of the Authority as well as user departments.

The department has branches in all the 10 regions headed by the procurement officers. The regional offices are mandated to procure goods, works and services to the threshold limit of 2 million shillings.� Requirements whose value exceed two million shillings are referred to the headquarters for processing.
